Working on it

Hey everyone! I have been trying to work on this site as much as possible and fix all the errors and update the pages/content. I have made a long to-do list and pasted it on my desktop as a sticky note which keeps me motivated to work on the site so I can strike each item off the list, one by one :yes: So far I have managed to do the following:

  • Fix all theme errors so it works in both firefox and IE (and google chrome).
  • Convert the main pages of site to wordpress pages.
  • Re-write some of the pages.
  • Temporary take off some old goodies pages (will fix them and put back up).
  • Track down all the different resources I used to make credits page.. Credits
  • Validate CSS.
  • Install spam protection for comments.
  • Remove no follow from links.

You may not see all the changes mentioned here because some are very minor and most are technical so they do not really change much about the look of the site. I am still working on re-writing all the pages and updating screen shots etc. I still have lots to do about this site which I would like to get over with as soon as possible but its taking time x_x

I don’t remember if I mentioned it before or not but I am preparing to write my GRE in October so that is something which keeps me busy. I have to practice maths because I have not done much of it in last 5-6 years. I also have to learn at least 4000 new words and improve my vocabulary which is going to be difficult but I am working on it. I hope to prepare well and score good in GRE because a lot depends on it :think:

I finally found the mini series ‘The Thorn Birds’ based on the novel with the same name by Colleen Mc Cullough. I read the novel sometime back and was desperate to watch the mini series ever since. So far, I have managed to watch the first part only and I am loving it. I hope to finish it soon and I will definitely like to put a review here and compare the book and the movie/series. I also tried installing a wordpress plugin to showcase the books I am reading or have read but it did not quite look the way I wanted it to so for now, its deactivated, hopefully I will get time to customize it later.

I would like to write more but I am gonna end this blog entry because its almost 3:00 am!! Whoa :whoa: and I want to wake up and study in the morning. I have got to finish at least 4 maths chapters: Algebra, Coordinate geometry, Exponents & Roots and Graphs :P Alright then :bye:

    I like that feeling of crossing something off my to-do list :D It makes me feel accomplished. I hope you finish everything that needs to be done ;)

    thanks ;) i’d very much recommend you to listen to a couple of kpop songs; they are awesome. i hope the fixing has been doing alright. i just thought of something~~ use different stylesheet for differnt IE versions??? i think it’d be easier to fix things like that

    That’s a lot of updates you’ve done..I just wrote a long list of things I need to do for the site. I guess I’ll get to doing them one by one, slowly..
    I love love love this layout! It’s just soooooo cute! <3 I understand how much time it must have taken for you to make such a lovely layout! :D

    Oh, what's GRE? I suppose that's a sort of…examination? Well, if it is that, good luck! :)

    Oh, Maths…you like Maths? I don't! LOL, it isn't that I'm bad at it…I'm just not interested! Sorry if you do like Maths! =)

    And Kanu, I have a smaller resolution, and I never knew my layout was misplaced in higher resolutions…aww, it would be so kind of you if you could help! That would be greatly appreciated!

    This layout looks gorgeous like always. :) I like how colourful all your layouts are.

    Good luck with the to-do list! For spam protection, try Akismet. It’s a 3 step installation process. :)

    Wow. You’ve been really busy. All the work on the website and the GRE? Good luck with the GRE, I haven’t taken it myself (yet!) but I’ve heard its hard!

    Hello! Big fan, here! XD I used to lurk around your site when I was younger and I decided to check back and see if Bouncy Bubbles was still active.

    It looks like the site still stays true to it’s nature (it’s still cute!) which I’m glad. <3
