OMG yes girls (and guys)! I am going to be a mommy….to a pup XD I am getting a puppy!! Its going to be my first pet ever! I have always wanted a dog and finally I have managed to convinve everyone at home about it…it was about time. I have decided to get a pug puppy  I love pugs! They are soo cute and sweet. I wanted a small/toy dog because there is not much place in house and I just love pugs

pug

I am sure many of you must have pets/dogs? Since its going to be my first time, please give me as many tips/advices as possible. Oh the big question. Do you think I should get a male or a female dog? I know it does not matter but I still dunno which one to get. I basically want a loving and entertaining little friend. I am thinking of names for both males and females. I will be getting it after 6th may for sure. Of course will bombard this place with its pics as soon as it arrives. I CANT WAIT :spin: soo excited! So happy

Give me some tips and suggest names too orjust be happy for me :D yayness :wohoo:

Congrats on having the oppurtunity to get a puppy! Personally I can’t stand dogs of any kind… but I can see how exciting it must be for a dog lover. I have a pet hamster at home (living illegally in my no pets allowed apartment! :O )

i highly suggest you potty train it asap! cause they poop alot! specially when they’re puppies, they poop EVERYWHERE. :grr:

ohhhh and its ok to spoil your dogg, but trust me! dont do it often, they get rebelious. lol thats how mines turned out to be. she wants everything her way.

I just got my first dog this summer and I hope you have fun with your new best friend! My suggestion to you is to use petfinder.com and look for toy dogs in your area who are up for adoption. Males tend to be more aggressive, but my dog’s a boy and he’s the sweetest animal on the planet and we got him from petfinder. You can also get a mix, which are actually slightly better than purebreds because they don’t end up with health problems of the specific breed. My dog is a mix between a lab and a whippet, and he’s going to permanently look like a lab puppy. Also, if you adopt you won’t have to housebreak and crate train a puppy. And finally, you can visit puppy foster homes to see the dog before you adopt. That’s what we did. Good luck!

First of all.. did you stop tweeting :O

then.. congrats on becoming a mommy
It’s nice to have pets around.. I had one German shepherd bitch till 3 years back..

they are fun to have around and demand ur absolute attention..

having a male / female has its pros and cons.. so think before you act!

I’ve had dogs my whole life :spin: A boy is usually more loyal and they prefer to stand by their masters side, etc. A girl is more independant and likes to go off and do her own thing. If you’re looknig for a loving dog that likes pats, hugs, etc, then I suggest getting a boy ^_^

:bounce: :secret: :sweat2: :bored: :gross:    :wohoo: :blah:   :hmph: :lmao:  :ouch:  :spin: :whoa:  :woot:  :duh: :grr:    :shy:  :yum:  :-* :-L :-S :-| :z: X-) ^-^ ^_^ :( :) :O :P :X XD :D
