Installing Fonts

This tutorial tells you how to install fonts on your computer. You can download many pretty fonts from here and small/pixel fonts from here.

Tutorial

Windows XP
» Download the fonts (unzip them) save on your desktop, press Ctrl + C.
» Click Start > My computer > C Drive > Windows > Fonts.
» In this folder click on any white space (not on any files) and press Ctrl + V.
» Thats all! Your font will be installed automatically, you can see it in all the graphic/word processing program now.

Macintosh Users
» Drag the font file into your system folder. If you have got System 7.0 or later (which you probably do) these files should automatically go into your Fonts folder. Then you open any word/graphic processing program and you will see the fonts there!

Windows 95, 98,2000
» From the Control Panel open the Fonts folder.
» On the File menu, click Install New Font.
» Click the drive and folder that contain the fonts you want to add.
» To select more than one font to add, press and hold down the CTRL key, click the fonts you want, and then click on OK.
To select a range of fonts in the list, press and hold down the SHIFT key while dragging the cursor over the fonts.
To add fonts from a network drive without using disk space on your computer, make sure Copy fonts to Fonts folder is not checked.
